Jeff Goldblum blames 'Wicked' for changes in his diet?
'Wicked: For Good' is set to hit theaters on November 21, 2025
Jeff Goldblum is crediting his latest film, Wicked, for a major lifestyle change.
The 73-year-old actor, who portrays the role of the Wizard of Oz in Jon M. Chu’s film adaptation of the beloved Broadway musical, revealed during an interview on the U.K. show This Morning that his role transformed his eating habits.
“It’s changed me,” he stated. “After doing this movie, we talked about animal cruelty. I stopped eating meat and poultry. So this Christmas and Thanksgiving, I may be having something else.”
"I'm happy. We need the world to work for everybody on earth and every creature too," he further added.
Goldblum’s thoughtful confession comes as anticipation builds for Wicked: For Good, which is the sequel to 2024’s Wicked part one.
The films, based on Stephen Schwartz’s Tony-winning musical and Gregory Maguire’s novel, explore the untold story of the witches of Oz with a star-studded cast including Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, and Jonathan Bailey.
