Paris Jackson opens up about her Perforated Septum
The 'Doctor Odyssey' star reveals her plans for surgery to fix the issue
Paris Jackson has opened up about things she has never discussed before.
The 27-year-old singer, model, actress and daughter of the late Michael Jackson revealed in a new TikTok video posted on Monday, November 10, that she has a perforated septum.
“I’ve never actually addressed this,” she began, before using her phone’s flashlight to show the small hole inside her nose.
Adding, “I have a really loud whistle when I breathe through my nose."
She further explained “And that is because I have what is called a perforated septum,” as the Doctor Odyssey actress showed the tiny hole in her septum and noted that it was “slightly different from a deviated septum.”
According to the Cleveland Clinic, a perforated septum is a hole in the cartilage or bone between your nostrils.
Moreover, the Habit star, who has been sober for six years, advised her followers to: “Don’t do drugs, kids. It ruined my life.”
"That is from what you think" indirectly hinted at drug usage.
Jackson also shared that she doesn’t plan to undergo surgery to fix the issue, explaining that she prefers to avoid painkillers due to her sobriety.
“You have to take pills when you have a surgery that gnarly,” she said.
