Ex-royal staffer shows loyalty towards Meghan Markle, Prince Harry in latest move?
Meghan Markle attened two major parties ahead of Remembrance Day
Meghan Markle’s attendance at two high-profile events over Remembrance Day has been openly defended by a former royal staffer.
On Saturday, Meghan and her husband Prince Harry first made an appearance at the 2025 Baby2Baby Gala at Pacific Design Center.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were then spotted attending Kris Jenner's 007-themed 70th birthday party in Beverly Hills the same evening.
Their weekend party appearances sparked backlash but a former royal staff member came to their defense.
"I don't feel that where they are they need to be sort of locked away and hidden out of sight," royal commentator Jack Stooks stated, speaking to GB News.
"I don't think anybody else was from all the photos I've seen, I think he was the only one with a poppy on."
The former royal gardener came forward saying that the couple were blameless and had done "nothing wrong", adding: "Meghan was doing nothing wrong. Harry was doing nothing wrong. I mean, Harry wasn't out, you know, on the 11th, having a massive party."
"Harry's the only member of the Royal Family that's actually currently served in a war. So none of the other Royal Family members have actually served."
The 41-year-old Duke spent a decade serving for the British Army until 2015. He served two tours of Afghanistan and achieved the rank of captain.
Defending King Charles’ youngest son, he added, ""If anything, Harry knows what he's doing. He's been there. He's seen the conflict. He's seen what it's done to people."
"So I don't think that he would have sort of gone out thinking that he doesn't care. He does care very much."
