Emma Stone shares her decades-long secret Christmas meal
'The Amazing Spider-Man' star reveals her holiday meal she grew up eating
Emma Stone revealed a surprising holiday staple she grew up eating while chatting with The New York Times Cooking ahead of her new film Bugonia.
The Lala Land star and her Jesse Plemons joined the NYT Cooking studio to cook spaghetti and meatballs from scratch.
During the show producer asked whether she had any family signature dishes. Stone smiled and shared a warm, slightly quirky memory.
“There was a tradition for a good amount of time that my grandad would make, which was ham loaf,” she said. “I don’t know if you’ve ever had a ham loaf, but it’s like meatloaf made of ham, and we always had it at Christmas.”
The 37-year-old actor ends the story with a laugh and a playful aside: “And I don’t really need to eat ham loaf again.”
As Bugonia continues its successful run in cinemas, Stone’s nostalgic story adds yet another layer to her relatable charm, a star who still finds meaning in the memories that made her who she is.
