Veteran actress Sally Kirkland has passed away at the age of 84 after a brief battle with dementia.
As reported by the Associated Press, her representative Michael Greene confirmed the news on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
The update came just two days after Kirkland’s spokesperson told **Page Six** that she had entered hospice care. “She continues to receive medical care at a private facility where family and friends joined her on Halloween for a birthday celebration,” the rep had said at the time.
In 2024, the Oscar-nominated actress had faced a series of health challenges, including multiple fractures in her neck, wrist, and hip.
Kirkland rose to fame with her Golden Globe nominated performance in the 1987 film Anna. Over her decades-long career, she appeared in more than 200 films and TV shows, including Charlie’s Angels, JFK and Bruce Almighty.
