Oscar-Nominated actress Sally Kirkland dies at 84

Veteran actress Sally Kirkland has passed away at the age of 84 after a brief battle with dementia.

‎As reported by the Associated Press, her representative Michael Greene confirmed the news on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

‎The update came just two days after Kirkland’s spokesperson told **Page Six** that she had entered hospice care. “She continues to receive medical care at a private facility where family and friends joined her on Halloween for a birthday celebration,” the rep had said at the time.

‎In 2024, the Oscar-nominated actress had faced a series of health challenges, including multiple fractures in her neck, wrist, and hip.

‎Kirkland rose to fame with her Golden Globe nominated performance in the 1987 film Anna. Over her decades-long career, she appeared in more than 200 films and TV shows, including Charlie’s Angels, JFK and Bruce Almighty.
