Sabrina Carpenter’s big movie announcement revealed

Sabrina Carpenter’s big movie announcement has been revealed.

The 26-year-old singer-actress is set to star in an upcoming reboot of the film for Universal Pictures titled Alice In Wonderland, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Moreover, the Please Please Please singer is also expected to produce the film.

The singer-actor's role in the movie is yet to be confirmed, however, it has been reported that Carpenter believes the film is somewhat of a “passion project” for her.

The movie will be directed by Hustlers movie director, Lorene Scafaria.

Apart from Carpenter, no other cast members have been publicly announced for the new inspired musical film.

A release date of Alice In Wonderland has yet to be set.

The upcoming movie will be a retelling of Lewis Carroll’s iconic Victorian era story, that was later adapted into a Disney animated film in 1951.

Apart from the forthcoming movie, Sabrina Carpenter will join Canadian actor-comedian Seth Rogen's production of a Muppet Show special for Disney+.

The series is set to be released in 2026.
