Meghan Markle celebrates Veterans Day with nostalgic tribute to Prince Harry

Meghan Markle recently celebrated Veterans Day with an emotional and nostalgia-driven clip of Prince Harry.

On Tuesday, November 11, the Duchess of Sussex took to her Instagram handle to mark the 2025 Remembrance Day by posting a two-slide carousel in order to pay a touching homage to all those who have served and continue to serve the nation.

Meghan’s post featured a nod to her husband, Prince Harry, who is also a veteran of the British Army.

She shared a video of the Duke of Sussex during his 2013 deployment in Afghanistan, which included a clip of him giving an interview at Camp Bastion.

In the viral clip, when an alarm suddenly signals a possible threat, Harry leaves mid-interview and runs to his Apache helicopter, a clear indication that he was always ready for action, as soldiers are trained to be.

“As my husband says, ‘Once served. Always serving.’ Thank you to all who served, sacrificed, and continue to serve. Honoring you on Veterans Day. And every day,” Meghan wrote in the heartwarming tribute.

The second image featured a photo of Prince Harry speaking with a veteran at the Veterans Centre at Sunnybrook Health Center during his recent visit to Canada last week in honour of Remembrance Day.

It is worth noting that Prince Harry served in the military from 2005 to 2015, completing two tours in Afghanistan.
