Uncancellable celebrities: Hollywood stars who got away despite their awful behaviour

Some Hollywood stars, despite the rise of cancel culture, seem to be lucky when it comes to cancelling culture.

While many celebrities in the industry have faced backlash and consequences for their actions, few of them easily got away with it, ditching accountability.

1. Jennifer Lopez

The singer-actress has been a part of some serious situations and accusations. 

From her presence at nightclub shooting in 1999 with Sean "Diddy” Combs, and nobody seems to really question her on these things. The ex-wife of Ben Affleck was questioned by police but wasn't charged.

More recently, her documentary Halftime also sparked some backlash for its portrayal of her life and career choices.

2. Kanye west

Also known as Ye, the controversial rapper seems to have defied the odds and "skipped" cancel culture, despite facing intense backlash for his controversial statements and actions. 

His shocking actions include:

• His anti-semitic remarks
• Released a song Heil Hitler
• Feud with Pete Davidson
• Interrupted Taylor Swift's VMA speech in 2009
• Wearing a "WHITE LIVES MATTER" shirt

3. Brad Pitt

Pitt allegedly harmed his now ex-wife Angelina Jolie and two of their children in front of their children on their private plane.

The incident led to an FBI investigation, but no charges were filed against the F1 actor.

4. Ashton Kutcher

The No Strings Attached actor once co-founded Thorn, a nonprofit organization that works to protect children from sexual abuse.

Later, the actor went on to write a letter of support for Danny Masterson, who was involved in a series of events related to sexual assault allegations.

5. Justin Timberlake

Timberlake's past relationship with Britney Spears has been marred by controversy, including allegations of cheating and pressuring her to have an abortion.

It seems like the singer-actor managed to maintain a loyal fan base. 

Moreover, the Friends with Benefits actor has also been open about his health issues, which might be contributing to the public's understanding.

6. Mark Wahlberg

The Play Dirty actor has a dark history of controversy, particularly a racially motivated attack in 1988.

At that time, Wahlberg beat a Vietnamese man, Thanh Lam, unconscious with a wooden stick.

He also punched another man, Johnny Trinh, in the face while yelling racist slurs, allegedly blinding him.
