Tom Felton, the actor who brought Draco Malfoy to life in the Harry Potter cinematic universe, is returning to his roots — this time, on Broadway.

Making his Broadway debut at the Lyric Theatre in New York, the actor is stepping back into his wizarding costume for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

He will be performing until May 10, 2026, rocking a perfect blond wig and that familiar Slytherin charm.

It’s a special moment for Tom as he becomes the first actor from the original Harry Potter films to officially return to his role on stage.

During rehearsals, the 38-year-old shared how surreal it felt that his first Philosopher’s Stone table read and the Cursed Child rehearsals happened nearly twenty five years apart.

Tom even joked about making sure that he still knows which hand his wand goes in and when asked about his favourite spell, fans might be surprised as he chose Harry’s own signature charm instead of any belonging to Draco.

Over the years, the Altered actor’s version of Draco Malfoy has become iconic and it is clear why. His ability to bring depth and emotion to a complex character has made Draco unforgettable as opening night approaches.

Tom Felton is ready to cast his charm once again, proving that some magic and some roles never fade.
