In a shocking turn of events, it appears that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has reportedly taken steps to dissolve the business behind his initiative to help entrepreneurs.

Launched back in 2014, 'Pitch@Palace' was the 65-year-old ex-Royal’s passion project to help start-up businesses to connect with potential investors, mentors and industry figures, a venture he claimed helped create over 3000 jobs.

According to documents submitted to Companies House on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 and signed by the firm's sole director Arthur Lancaster, an application has been filed for the firm to to be "struck off and dissolved."

Public filings with the Companies House indicate that Andrew, based at Royal Lodge in Windsor, retains "significant influence or control" over the business.

Following his 2019 decision to step away from public life after his controversial BBC Newsnight appearance, where he was questioned about his alleged ties with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the enterprise soon began to unravel.

The project lost its backing after losing Barclays, KPMG and Standard Chartered, who decided to cut ties with the business. While the UK division closed soon after, the international branches continued to operate until now.

Controversy deepened when the Home Office banned Yang Tengbo, the founding partner of Pitch@Palace China and an alleged associate of Andrew, after he was identified as a suspected spy.

The former Royal’s decision comes after his brother King Charles officially removed royal titles, styles and honours on October 30.
