Prince William has revealed that his son Prince George isn’t allowed to have a cellphone yet and it’s reportedly become a ‘tense issue’ at home.

While speaking with Brazilian TV host Luciano Huck during his trip for the Earthshot Prize awards, the Prince of Wales opened up about the challenge of raising kids in a digital world.

“It’s really hard,” William admitted, explaining that he and Kate Middleton are trying to protect their children from the dangers of social media.

“And to be honest, it’s getting to the point where it’s becoming a little bit of a tense issue,” he said, referring to his 11-year-old son. “But I think he understands why. We communicate why we don’t think it’s right.”

William explained that he’s not against phones entirely, but just internet access. “I think children can access too much stuff they don’t need to see online,” he said.
