In a recent development, the 45-year-old reality TV star’s eldest child, North West, turned to her TikTok handle to flaunt her bizarre new piercings, sharing photos of her hands featuring dermal pierced fingers.

The images have once again resurfaced online, with netizens expressing concerns and raising questions about Kim’s style of parenting.

North’s latest body modification include a dual dermal piercing on her right middle finger and a blue gem piercing on her left middle finger.

For those unversed, a dermal piercing s a surgical procedure during which a small and flat anchor is inserted under the skin, so the jewelry appears fixed on the surface.

According to a parenting website Healthy Children, dermal piercings can include complications like hypertrophic scarring, rejection, local infection, contact allergy, and traumatic tearing.

Shortly after the 12-year-old’s photos made their way to Reddit, users lashed out at Kim for being so irresponsible in allowing her daughter to undergo such a procedure that poses risks, as reported by The Sun.

“Dermal piercings at 12 on your hand is wild. I’m all for allowing your children to express themselves and find their own style, but not this, not at 12,” one user noted.

A second remarked, “Why are they letting 12-year-old look 25? Kim and Kanye need to be a better parent and North needs to be reminded she’s a little girl, not a grown adult.”

Addressing the growing criticism during her recent Call Me Daddy interview, Kim revealed that she remains highly supportive of her daughter’s choices and creativity.

The Kardashians star said, “I would never take that creativity away from her. She’s such a good girl and so sweet. If blue hair makes her happy, it is what it is.”
