You won't believe but many Hollywood celebrities have admitted of having OCD and shared their struggles with the disorder.

For those who are unaware of this condition; OCD, also known as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, is a chronic mental health issue where people get stuck on thoughts or actions, like excessive handwashing or checking things repeatedly.

Many famous faces such as Kanye West, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Ariana Grande struggle with this brain condition.

Let’s have a look at the list of actors, singers, and famous personalities who are suffering from OCD:

Leonardo DiCaprio

The One Battle After Another actor, who struggles with OCD, has often openly discussed his compulsive behaviour, especially concerning his work and environmental activism.

According to the 51-year-old actor, he avoids cracks in the sidewalk and always wants to walk through doors more than one time.

Ariana Grande

The Wicked: For Good actor once revealed that she struggled with OCD as a child, and that her symptoms are better managed when she’s busy.

According to the singer-actress, she’d have to hear a song three times to make sure she’d been in the shower long enough.

Kanye West

The controversial rapper has been open about his mental health conditions in the past, and has mentioned having OCD on more than one occasion.

“I definitely have OCD… I have to be creative at all times and I have to learn. I don't know any other way.” West once told The Guardian.

Interestingly, the ex-husband of Kim Kardashian has mentioned that he believes his OCD could also be partly responsible for his success, as he thinks it could be related to the idea of perfection in all areas of his life, including his career.

Megan Fox

In 2010, the Jennifer’s Body actress opened up about the disorder’s impact on her daily life, and admitted that she had to seek out a psychiatrist after starting to wash her hands so often that her knuckles bled.

“I said, ‘This is a sickness, I have an illness, this has moved beyond “Oh I need my hands to be clean”—this is not OK anymore,’” the Subservience actress said.

Daniel Radcliffe

The Harry Potter star has been open about his struggles with OCD affected him when he was as young as 5-years-old child.

Moreover, the British actor said one of his compulsions was the need to constantly repeat anything he said back to himself, under his breath so no one would notice, as per him.

According to the Weird: The Al Yankovic Story actor, he was ultimately referred to a therapist that helped him managing the disorder.
