Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have recently donated a sum of $50,000 to a project tied to Netflix.

For the unversed, the Ugandan children's dance troupe, Masaka Kids Africana, are featured in a Netflix documentary titled, Masaka Kids: A Rhythm Within.

As reported by PEOPLE, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex via their Archewell Foundation made a donation on November 12, to support the Ugandan children's dance troupe.

Meanwhile, the Archewell Foundation also reflected on the couple’s mission to "show up, do good."

Harry and Meghan's donation comes ahead of the documentary's trailer, which is set to premiere on December 9, 2025, on Netflix.

The documentary is produced by Archewell Productions, the royal couple's media company, with the two serving as producers.

Moreover, the former actress also offered fans a sneak peek on her Instagram Stories.

"In the heart of Uganda’s Masaka region, where the shadows of the HIV/AIDS crisis linger, a small orphanage becomes a beacon of hope," reads the logline.

It continues, "Masaka Kids Africana takes viewers beyond the viral videos to reveal a vibrant, one-of-a-kind community where orphaned children transform hardship into joy, dancing their way toward healing, belonging, and the promise of a brighter future."
