Miles Teller has reflected on leading the ill-fated 2015 Fantastic Four reboot and without hesitation blamed one specific person for its poor performance.

Talking on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, the 38-year-old star opened up about the movie that released a decade ago, saying, "When I first saw the movie, I remember talking to one of the studio heads and said, ‘I think we’re in trouble.'"

When the host questioned the Top Gun: Maverick actor if he knew the superhero action film "wasn’t great," Miles went on to share his thoughts.

"I think it’s unfortunate because so many people worked so hard on that movie. And, honestly, maybe there was one really important person who kind of f–ked it all up,” he said.

Although the actor did not name the person, many believe that he was seemingly talking about film’s director Josh Trank, who once sparked controversy by tweeting that he had made a "fantastic version" of the movie but fans would “probably never see” it.

Even though Trank deleted the post afterward, his public critique may have done enough damage to the audience turnout. “Fantastic Four” pulled in just under $26 million in the U.S., falling $14 million short of its forecast.

Miles admitted that the results of the film had left him feeling disappointed, especially there was quite some pressure on him to land a superhero role in order to be "taken seriously as a leading man.”

“And that was our chance. And the casting, I thought was spectacular. I love all those actors,” he said.
