Bad Bunny wins 5 Latin Grammys ahead of Super Bowl LX performance
The Puerto Rico singer was honored as the best artist of the 21st century at the Latin Billboard Awards
Bad Bunny dominated the 2025 Latin Grammy Awards on Thursday night, taking home five trophies and solidifying his status as a global Latin music icon.
The Puerto Rican superstar won Album of the Year for his acclaimed Debí Tirar Más Fotos, dedicating the honor to “all the youth of Latin America.”
The awards night also highlighted Bad Bunny’s strong reply to critics who have questioned his upcoming Super Bowl LX halftime performance.
Amid the controversy, he stated, “There are many ways of being patriotic and defending our homelands".
"We chose music,” he said, emphasizing his commitment to celebrating Latin culture through his art.
In addition to Album of the Year, Bad Bunny also won Best Urban Music Performance, Best Urban Song, Best Urban Music Album, and Best Reggaeton Performance.
The show featured performances from Karol G, Gloria Estefan, Rauw Alejandro, Fuerza Regida, Grupo Frontera, Pepe Aguilar, and a duet by Kacey Musgraves and Carin León.
This marks yet another milestone in Bad Bunny’s meteoric rise, following his recent honor as Best Artist of the 21st Century at the Latin Billboard Awards, proving that he remains at the forefront of Latin music worldwide.
