Bella Hadid gets brutally honest about 'medical anxiety'

Bella Hadid, who has been suffering from Lyme disease, recently got brutally honest about "medical anxiety".

The 28-year-old model recently took to Instagram Stories on Friday, November 14, and shared two posts related to her struggles with the disease.

In the first story, Hadid shared a meme with the text "When your chronic illness is chronic illness-ing and someone says 'it's always something with you' like... yes... one might say the illness is... chronic."

On the second post, the sister of Gigi Hadid re-shared a post from influencer Alexandra Wildeson about the "duality" of chronic illness.

On the second slide, while opening about her "medical anxiety", the super model wrote, "The medical anxiety is soooooo real," Bella wrote over the post. "Thank you for putting every one of my thoughts and daily situations into one swipe. The truuuuuth! @alexandrawildeson."

For the unversed, Bella Hadid was admitted to the hospital recently in September 2025 due to a flare-up of her chronic Lyme disease, an infectious illness caused by bacteria transmitted to humans through the bite of infected ticks.

The model has been suffering from the disease since 2012.
