Ellie Goulding drops steamy 'Destiny' music video featuring boyfriend Beau Minniear

Ellie Goulding dropped her latest single Destiny on Friday, November 14, with a steamy music video which features her boyfriend Beau Minniear.

Destiny is the 38-year-old English singer’s first solo release since 2023’s Higher Than Heaven and her first new song after announcing her split from Caspar Jopling in 2024.

"Recording this was like a catharsis, it made me feel so much better, like the prize was me all along," she expressed in a statement. "Instead of putting my everything into these men, this song was my first feeling of straight-up escape and empowerment."

Continuing, "When I heard the track I was in love with it. To me it sounds like surrender. It sounds like let it happen. That’s why it is called ‘Destiny,’ it sounds like what will be will be and accepting it."

She confirmed her romance with Beau in September, during a London outing, two months after he posted a daring photo of the Love Me Like You Do hitmaker in bed.
