'SNL' lights up tonight with Glen Powell’s hosting debut

Saturday Night Live is back tonight, delivering its sixth episode of season 51.

The season comes with a fresh lineup following one of the show’s biggest cast shakeups in years.

Airing live at 11:30 p.m. EST on NBC, the long-running late-night sketch comedy show is returning with actor Glen Powell stepping into Studio 8H as host for the very first time.

Moreover, rising British singer Olivia Dean will also make her SNL debut as the musical guest.

The episode follows last week’s installment, which featured Nikki Glaser and Sombr.

But much of the current buzz surrounding SNL stems from the sweeping cast changes introduced after Season 50.

Season 51 now includes featured players Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane, Ben Marshall, Kam Patterson, and Veronika Slowikowska, joined by returnees Ashley Padilla and Jane Wickline.

They will perform alongside returning veterans, including Michael Che, Colin Jost, Kenan Thompson, Bowen Yang, Chloe Fineman, and others.
