Kate Middleton has penned a letter expressing her support for Maternal Mental Health Alliance (MMHA), a UK-based organisation, in their latest campaign.

As the charity launched its new photographic exhibition, called “This is Also Motherhood”, the Princess of Wales reached out to commend them for championing “the voices of those navigating perinatal mental illness.”

“Their new photographic exhibition, ‘This is Also Motherhood’, explores the often unseen realities of mental health throughout pregnancy and beyond,” the correspondence continued. “At the heart of this exhibition are ten extraordinary women. Their courage to speak openly about their experiences, whether marked by trauma, joy, or resilience, demonstrates the great vulnerability and strength of the human condition.”

Princess Kate’s letter concluded with the words, “This is Also Motherhood' reminds us that perinatal mental health problems can be overcome. Every parent's story matters, and every voice has the power to help build a society where love, hope, and compassion are at the heart of everything we do.”

Signed “Catherine”, and delivered by Kensington Palace, MMHA proudly shared the news of receiving the 43-year-old royal’s letter on their Instagram page.

“We are honoured to have received this letter from our Patron, HRH The Princess of Wales,” the foundation’s team wrote in their post’s caption.

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton herself recently launched the new edition of a campaign geared towards mental health — a video series titled Mother Nature: Autumn. The autumn series is the third from the future queen’s Mother Nature programme, which debuted earlier this year.

Mother Nature: Spring had marked the debut release of the series, which came out on May 12. While Mother Nature: Summer was the second to follow, released on August 13.
