‘Euphoria’ wraps filming for its highly awaited third season
Season three of ‘Euphoria’ is expected to premiere next year
Euphoria has wrapped production on its highly anticipated third season, which will premiere in Spring 2026.
The hit HBO series began filming earlier this year after a long hiatus following the release of its sophomore season in 2022. According to Deadline, the newly completed shoot lasted nine months.
While Sydney Sweeney, one of the show’s many young stars, confirmed the news during the Deadline’s Contenders Film: Los Angeles panel for her latest release, Christy.
Admitting that she “can’t say anything” about whatever is in store for season three, Sweeney added, “I wrapped last week though, it’s very exciting. We filmed since February.”
Euphoria’s third season will feature eight episodes and marks the return of its principal cast — Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney, Maude Apatow, Alexa Demie, and Colman Domingo.
Between the show’s long delay, a few cast members from the previous seasons have also departed the show, including Barbie Ferreira and Austin Abrams. While Angus Cloud, who played the drug dealer Fezco in seasons one and two, tragically passed away in 2023.
Meanwhile, a host of other actors have also joined Euphoria ahead of its upcoming release, including Sharon Stone and Spanish musician Rosalía.
