Taylor Swift to bring THIS Hollywood icon’s legacy back to London
The ‘Opalite’ hitmaker gears up to revive the magic of an old Hollywood legend
Taylor Swift is ready to treat her fans to a surprise music video for the viral track of her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl.
As reported by The Sun, the 35-year-old pop sensation is preparing to travel to the UK to film the music video for Elizabeth Taylor, the second song on her new album.
Swift will be paying tribute to the Hollywood icon, born in Hampstead, North London, who initally rose to fame as a child star and went on to become an acclaimed actress in adulthood.
An insider told the outlet, "Taylor is super excited to be back in London filming for her new music video."
"Elizabeth Taylor is a British icon, and Taylor wants to pay homage by shooting scenes in the capital," the tipster added.
Sharing insights about the production, the source shared, "Taylor has always written about her love for London, and the video will capture different locations around the city."
For those unversed, Elizabeth breathed her last at the age of 79 in 2011.
It is worth noting that this update comes shortly after Taylor Swift was named the No. 1 female songwriter of the 21st century by Billboard.
