Melissa McCarthy, Dijon set to appear on 'SNL' this December
'SNL' makes exciting announcement regarding Melissa McCarthy and Dijon
Saturday Night Live announced that Melissa McCarthy would be hosting soon while Dijon takes the stage as a musical guest, in an episode which featured Glen Powell and Olivia Dean.
The duo will join the sketch comedy show on December 6.
As per tradition, SNL will be taking a short break for Thanksgiving holiday and will resume with several December episodes before midseason hiatus, returning in the new year.
This won’t be her first time hosting SNL and the Gilmore Girls alum made her hosting debut back in 2011, returning in 2017 when Alec Balkdwin and Steve Martin presented her with the membership jacket.
Each time she hosted, she earned an Emmy nomination, including a win in 2017.
The 55-year-old actress and comedian is set to appear in Paramount+’s upcoming limited series exploring JonBenét Ramsey’s murder, as well as a Netflix film adaptation of the beloved children’s book Miss Nelson is Missing.
The R&B singer Dijon, 33, who recently earned critical acclaim with his second studio album Baby, is best known for hits like Yamaha, and The Dress.
