Jeremy Renner and Yi Zhou's case has taken a new turn after the director made explosive allegations about the Marvel star.

According to TMZ, the 54-year-old actor’s lawyer, Marty Singer, has outright dismissed the claims of a settlement with the 38-year-old filmmaker.

On Saturday, November 15, Zhou told the outlet that they "reached a peaceful and mutually respectful resolution" to their conflict.

However, shortly afterward, Singer rejected the claim of reaching an agreement.

Zhou also mentioned that she and Renner plan to continue working on their joint projects, Stardust Future and Chronicles of Disney.

"There was no deal reached with Yi Zhou to resolve my client Jeremy Renner's substantial multi-million-dollar claims against her," Renner's lawyer said in a strong response to Zhou's claims.

He continued, "I have no knowledge why Yi Zhou would fabricate a story that a deal has been made with her since she was notified that there was no deal with her, including her use of Jeremy Renner in an animated movie when he only agreed to be in a documentary."

For context, the Chinese director revealed to the Daily Mail on November 7 that Renner threatened to "call ICE" on her when she began dating him last month.

“The allegations being made are totally inaccurate and untrue,” the Hawkeye actor’s representative responded at the time, per Page Six.

Moreover, Renner claimed that he had only agreed to take part in Zhou’s Chronicles of Disney documentary before she allegedly began pursuing him romantically.

Jeremey Renner acknowledged a brief consensual encounter with Yi Zhou but rejected her alleged efforts to engage in a sexual relationship.
