King Charles applauds Princess Kate’s commitment at Remembrance Weekend
The Princess of Wales praised by King Charles for key role in Remembrance events
King Charles is reportedly pleased with Kate Middleton after her recent royal engagements on Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day.
According to GBNews, it was the first time the Princess of Wales had attended the service at the National Memorial Arboretum, laying a wreath for the first time and meeting families of military personnel as well as veterans.
Now, a BBC royal expert Jennie Bond revealed how “delighted” Charles is with Kate stepping up in her duties.
“He [King Charles] must recognise that she is an absolutely key figure in the future of the monarchy, and - just like William - he is proud of how completely she has embraced her role,” she said, emphasising Princess Kate’s commitment on her journey to becoming Britain’s queen.
Jennie added that the mother of three was the “very picture of a modern future Queen, carrying out one of the most solemn duties in the royal calendar.”
The royal correspondent further expressed that Kate “showed her commitment to the Remembrance events by taking a prominent role at the Albert Hall commemoration, the Cenotaph service and then at the Arboretum”.
This update comes shortly after Princess Kate revealed the autumn instalment of her Mother Nature video series.
