The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress shared a behind-the-scenes moment on Instagram, showing herself lying across her Song Sung Blue co-star Hugh Jackman’s lap during their journey to the ceremony, all to prevent creases in her light green Valentino silk dress.

“Governors Awards @theacademy Thanks to Hugh, silk got no wrinkles,” Hudson captioned the post.

Her gown featured draped cut-out sleeves, a plunging back, and she completed the look with drop earrings and a wavy bob.

Hudson’s appearance comes ahead of the Oscar-slated musical drama Song Sung Blue, which she stars in alongside Jackman.
