The real reason Kris Jenner won’t cut ties with her daughters’ exes — revealed
Despite past drama, Kris continues to cherish relationships with her daughter's former partners
Kris Jenner has a special corner for her daughter's exes, even after public drama and cheating scandals.
The 70-year-old matriarch discussed her perspective on forgiveness and family bonds on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast.
“I fall in love with people, have lives and years spent with their partners,” Kris said.
“These are, in most cases, the fathers of my grandchildren. I love these men, and that love doesn’t go away when we experience really challenging times.”
Jenner emphasized that her children’s former partners know they have “an open door policy” with her and that family celebrations, from Christmas mornings to birthdays, remain inclusive.
She gives examples of Khloé Kardashian’s ex, Tristan Thompson, and Kylie Jenner’s former partner, Travis Scott, both of whom she continues to see as a part of the family.
The reality star explained that maintaining these connections also teaches her children the value of forgiveness.
“What will my grandkids think 20 years from now if their grandmother treated their dad poorly?” she said.
“Forgive somebody who’s treated you badly and move on, that’s one of the biggest lessons I can teach.”
