Taylor Swift's lavish diamond display puts her at risk of burglary
Taylor Swift's jewellery sparks burglary fears ahead of wedding to Travis Kelce
Taylor Swift’s recent outing with her fiancé, Travis Kelce, while donning millions worth of diamond jewellary, has put her at risk of burglary.
For the unversed, the couple, who got engaged in August 2025, went on a date night in New York City, where Swift carried glittering diamond accessories; a “lariat and lock necklace combination”, which was worth over $14,000.
She was also wearing her Artifex engagement ring and a $3,950 Louis Vuitton Le Damier Ring.
Now, as reported by Radar Online, security specialists warned that the 35-year-old singer wearing high-value jewellary could make her an ideal mark for thieves.
Explaining it further, a former policeman, who has probed A-list robberies shared, "When someone like Taylor wears millions in jewelry and everyone knows when she's out – because her movements are publicized minute by minute – she becomes a textbook target."
Moreover, a security consultant familiar with Hollywood clients also shared two cents, saying, "There are gangs that treat this like a business.”
According to the security consultant, these gangs study the patterns where she dines, when she flies, what her security rotation looks like.
“Posting or being photographed with high-value jewelry just adds incentive," the consultant added.
As for the celebrity couple, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly plan to tie the knot in a private wedding at singer's Rhode Island mansion in summer 2026.
