Ariana Grande reveals acting remains her biggest passion after 'Wicked: For Good'
'Wicked: For Good' set to release on November 21, 2025
Ariana Grande loves what she’s doing right now.
She said that acting has become her primary creative focus, at least for now.
Speaking on Today while promoting Wicked: For Good, the 32-year-old star wanted to focus more on acting, whether on screen or on stage, rather than prioritizing her equally successful pop career.
“I really am enjoying acting right now. Whether it’s movies or being on stage or a little something here and there, I think that’s currently what I’m most inspired by,” the Supernatural hitmaker expressed, as she promotes the highly anticipated musical. "I’ll still sing, I promise. But yes, right now, that’s currently where I’m at."
Grande, who earned major awards recognition for her work as Glinda in last year’s Wicked, at the Oscars, Critics Choice Awards, BAFTA Awards, Golden Globe Awards and more, is coming back to the big screens with Wicked: For Good on November 21.
“It would be a dream to find the right thing to come back to, to be on stage,” she added, leaving the door open to Broadway. “And we’ll see. I’m grateful to be along for the ride.”
Looking ahead, the Victorious alum also set to appear in Focker In-Law, the next entry in the Meet the Parents franchise, due in November 2026.
