Paris Jackson has submitted a new legal objection in the ongoing dispute over her father Michael Jackson’s estate in Los Angeles court, accusing its executors of mismanagement and personal growth.

In a filing submitted Tuesday, November 18, the 27-year-old actress challenged the estate’s long-delayed accounting for the 2021 year which she and her brothers Prince and Bigi did not receive until September, nearly four years late.

The Leaving Neverland star argues that co-executors John Branca and John McClain have allowed “enormous sums of cash” to sit lazy and she believes their decisions conflict with the estate’s best interests.

According to the filing, “Paris is increasingly concerned the Estate has become the vehicle for John Branca to enrich and aggrandize himself, rather than serve the beneficiaries’ best interests and steadfastly preserve her father’s legacy.”

As per People report, a source close to the estate dismissed the filing, saying, “This is another misguided attempt by Paris Jackson’s attorneys to provide themselves cover… All the beneficiaries are well taken care of by the Estate. This is a weak attempt to change the narrative of their loss.”

Paris claims the executors collected more than $10 million in compensation in 2021 alone, over twice what any beneficiary received in family allowances.

She estimates their total compensation through 2021 at roughly $148.2 million, far exceeding distributions to Michael's children.

The objection also criticises the executors for sitting on more than $464 million in cash while earning less than 0.1% in returns, arguing that proper investments could have generated $41 million.

The Gringo star further challenges their involvement in “risky” entertainment ventures, including the upcoming biopic Michael, noting that Branca, an executive producer, cast Miles Teller to portray him.

The filing states the estate has “morphed into a private entertainment investment fund managed more for the benefit of Executors and their counsel than its beneficiaries.”

Paris Jackson also notes the estate has yet to provide accounting for 2022 through 2025 and believes the executors are delaying the process to keep control "indefinitely".
