Tom Felton received a pleasant surprise from his Harry Potter co-star and onscreen dad Jason Isaacs during the latest performance of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway.

While Felton is currently reprising his role from the film adaptations of the popular wizarding novel series, Draco Malfoy, Isaacs had played Lucius Malfoy — the Malfoy family patriarch — on the big screen.

According to Deadline, “Felton would be taking over the role of Draco from Aaron Bartz during a 19-week limited engagement from November 11 through March 22.”

The two British actors’ reunion was shared by Isaacs on his Instagram page, writing, “I came. I saw. He conquered.”

“You had your own giant boots to fill, son, and you burst them at the seams. Balls like ostrich eggs. So brave. So proud. So glad to be there,” he wrote in his onscreen son’s praise.

Felton returned the favour in the post’s comments where he responded with, “Thanks for coming dad. Ive never been prouder to be a Malfoy”. (Sic)

Tom Felton’s first Broadway performance as Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was marked on November 11. The former child star described the role as “a huge part of my childhood” during his appearance on the Today Show.
