Jennifer Lawrence heaps praises on Leonardo DiCaprio’s ‘One Battle After Another’

Jennifer Lawrence is singing the praises of Paul Thomas Anderson’s latest action thriller, One Battle After Another.

On the newest episode of BAFTA and Samsung’s BAFTA Playback, the Oscar-winning actress called the film “the best movie I’ve ever seen.”

Lawrence shared a standout moment from the movie, where Leonardo DiCaprio’s character struggles to remember a payphone password for a crucial rendezvous.

Reflecting on the experience, she said it was unlike anything she’d ever felt in a cinema.

“When it was over, everyone applauded,” she recalled.

“I just kept thanking my husband over and over because he had booked the tickets two weeks in advance. I couldn’t say anything else other than thank you for that experience,” she went on to say.

The actress also discussed scenes from her own career, including Winter’s Bone and Die My Love, while celebrating films that had a personal impact on her.
