Keanu Reeves thanks FBI in handwritten letter after burglary recovery

Keanu Reeves has publicly thanked the FBI after recovering valuable items stolen from his Los Angeles home in a 2023 burglary.

The 61-year-old actor’s possessions, including a personalised Rolex watch featured in his John Wick films, were returned following an extensive investigation involving U.S. authorities and officials in Chile.

Reeves expressed his gratitude in a heartfelt handwritten letter to the FBI.

“It is with profound gratitude and appreciation that I am writing this letter,” he wrote.

“Thank you so much for all your effort, dedication, professionalism and cross-border cooperation. My warmest regards, Keanu,” he concluded.

The burglary, which occurred two years ago, saw thieves target Reeves’ residence and take several high-value items.

Earlier this year, the stolen possessions were located in Chile. Among the recovered items were six luxury watches, with a combined estimated value of approximately $125,000.

The haul notably included the Rolex closely associated with Reeves’ iconic John Wick character, making its return particularly significant for fans and the actor alike.
