Prince William announces solo trip as Harry prepares Canada return
Prince William is gearing up for a solo Royal engagement
In a surprising turn of events, Prince William is gearing up for another trip as his brother Prince Harry prepares to return to Canada for another engagement.
According to Kensington Palace, the 43-year-old Prince of Wales will head to North Wales alone next week to spotlight the issues young people are facing in coastal communities.
On November 25, he will stop by Colwyn Bay, kicking off his day with a beach walk alongside members of the Marine Conservation Society’s Youth Ocean Network.
The Future King will likely spend time with volunteers and young participants from Marine Conservations Society’s Hiraeth Yn Y Môr project, which came to an end in March 2025.
He will also learn directly from the youth involved, who will share insights from their experience on the project.
Through the project, youngsters worked alongside the coastal communities of Prestatyn, Rhyl, Kimmel Bay, and Towyn, aiming to grow awareness, protect local marine heritage, and encourage healthier connections with the sea.
After completing the engagement, William will head over to Youth Shedz’ headquarters in Mochdre, where he will take a tour of the headquarters as well as interact with young people who have used the service and hear out how it has helped them build new skills, gain confidence and make a positive impact on their local community.
His younger brother Harry, Duke of Sussex is also confirmed to be returning to Canada for an engagement, weeks after his last visit overlapped with his elder brother’s trip to Brazil for the Earthshot Prize.
However, with William’s engagement set for next week and the 41-year-old Duke’s for December 1, it seems like there won’t be any clashes in schedules between them this time.
