Nicholas Galitzine praises Charli XCX’s transition to acting

Nicholas Galitzine is cheering his 100 Nights of Hero co-star Charli XCX as she comes from a pop background.

In a conversation with PEOPLE, the 31-year-old actor praised Charli’s “incredible energy” and relentless creative drive, saying her appetite for new projects is insatiable.

The Idea Of You actor admitted he regretted not sharing any scenes with the Grammy-nominated singer in 100 Nights of Hero.

He said he is “really happy” to watch her acting career flourish after years of admiring her music.

Galitzine singled out Charli’s recent and upcoming screen work as evidence of the shift.

The singer starred in the indie comedy Erupcja, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, and will headline A24’s The Moment (due in 2026), a project inspired by an original idea from the singer.

Charli also composed the soundtrack for Emerald Fennell’s forthcoming adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which Galitzine described as “unreal,” adding that the soundtrack further signals that “acting is going to be a big part of her life now.”
