Hilary Duff confirms big plans after years out of spotlight

Hilary Duff is set to make a major return with a brand-new musical endeavour.

On Friday, November 21, the 38-year-old singer announced her album titled Luck… or Something, nearly a decade later.

For the unversed, the thrilling upcoming album follows Hilary’s last project, Breathe In. Breathe Out., which was released in 2015.

In the statement accompanying her album announcement, the musician reflected on her journey in the industry.

“I am often asked how I still have my head on straight after growing up in this industry,” she said.

The Come Clean songstress continued, "The album title is my way of answering that question."

"It’s luck, but there’s also a lot of weight in the ‘…or something,’” the former child star stated, referencing her forthcoming album.

"Many of the things I’ve been through along the way are held there, and I feel like ultimately that’s what’s shaped me," she remarked.

It is worth noting that this announcement comes after Hilary released the lead single, Mature, from the album earlier this month.

“'Mature' is a little conversation that my present self is having with my younger self,” she shared in the statement at the time.

"The two of us are reflecting on a past experience and sending love to each other. It’s a chuckle, a wink and a sense of being grateful that we are sure footed in where we landed," the Sparks singer mentioned.

Hillary Duff’s Luck… or Something is set to be released on February 20, 2026, via Atlantic Records.
