Kourtney Kardashian references collab with Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS in timely throwback

Kourtney Kardashian had modelled for the Kim Kardashian-founded SKIMS last year, and a little past the anniversary of the collaboration, the eldest Kardashian seemingly referenced it in a newly shared throwback.

The second slide among an Instagram carousel featuring seven throwback snaps, Kourtney and Kim can be seen dressed in matching leopard printed pajama sets, along with their younger sister, Khloe Kardashian.

Kourtney simply captioned the post, “1999”.

It was a year ago, on November 19, that the 46-year-old Kardashian sister squashed her disagreement with Kim when she appeared in a partnership between her sister’s brand and Italian designers, Dolce & Gabbana. The two sisters had been notoriously locked in a furious debate about who among the two had copied the other, and the argument was partially owed to their shared fondness for the famous luxury fashion house.

When Kim collaborated with D&G for their Milan fashion show in 2022, a few months after Kourtney’s wedding to Travis Barker at the designers’ villa in Italy where she wore their designs, the latter had admitted that she felt like her younger sister was “legit copying” her. However, Kim defended herself by saying, “This has been years in the making. Real blood, sweat and tears and fights have gone into this collaboration, so I feel good.”

The two sisters then came together for a collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana in 2024, posing in multiple, nearly identical leopard printed ensembles.

Kourtney Kardashian had cheekily captioned the images, “I got married in Italy.”
