Kelsea Ballerini believed Chase Stokes to be her true love before second split?

Prior to their second break-up, it has been reported that Kelsea Ballerini saw her relationship with Chase Stokes was truly special and one of a kind.

A source came forward and revealed to Us Weekly that the 32-year-old singer thought that the Outer Banks star was her true love.

"Kelsea hadn’t found someone that was as compatible with her until Chase. He opened up to her, and they had a relationship with more intimacy than she has ever had,” the insider told the outlet.

Continuing, "She felt he was the most committed to her out of all the guys she has ever been with. That’s why they worked so well, and that’s why she believed they would work long-term.”

The source claimed that Kelsea believed that the 33-year-old actor could be "the one."

“She never loved someone like this before,” the source added. “He was the type of guy who would not take his eyes off her. They were really in love.”

The former couple who began dating in 2023, seemingly called it quits in September 2025, Us Weekly confirmed.

However, weeks later it was reported that they have decided to rekindle their romance. But now it appears that decision didn’t last long as the outlet reported on November 20, that Kelsea and Chase broke up again after their relationship got “rocky and toxic.”
