Alex Edelman opens up about 'The Paper' season two
Alex Edelman, the comedian who acts in and writes for The Paper, has opened up about what fans can expect in season 2.
Talking to People, on November 22, the 36-year-old actor, who took on the role of Adam a staffer at the Toledo Truth Teller, says the writers’ room is full of "really fun, amazing" ideas.
He noted that with his team, everything is open to possibility and anything can happen on the show.
"With those guys, everything's on the table," he remarked.
Continuing, "So anything can happen on these shows. And so I think audiences are actually gonna be really, really excited and surprised."
"We have some really interesting new storylines for some characters," Alex said, regarding The Office spinoff.
"And I think you're going to meet people in a way that will sort of open up how you met them in season 1."
The spinoff of the fan favourite series centers on an old-school journalist Ned (Domhnall Gleeson) who steps into save the Toledo Truth Teller, transforming a chaotic newsroom into a credible, respected publication.
