Sandra Bullock shuts out Hollywood after heartbreaking loss of longtime partner
The ‘Unforgivable’ actress lost her boyfriend Bryan Randall in 2023
Sandra Bullock has recently taken a significant step away from her public life following the tragic demise of her longtime partner, Bryan Randall, in August 2023.
For those unversed, Randall died at the age of 57 from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, after a three-year battle with the illness.
According to a new Radar Online report, Bullock has become more private, not due to Hollywood's youth-driven culture, but because she remains deeply impacted by losing the man she considered the love of her life.
“Sandra keeps to herself almost all the time – she only goes out when she truly has to,” a source shared.
The insider went on to disclose that the people close to the Bird Box actress remain concerned about her wellbeing, and that grief has greatly altered her everyday life.
“Those around her fear she’s closed herself off. It’s the grief, and it’s something she’s still living with every single day,” the tipster claimed.
Another source stated that Bullock has discreetly pulled herself away from the buzzing world of Hollywood.
“She’s essentially stepped away from the business," the source continued. "She hasn’t formally said she’s done, but everyone can sense she isn’t ready to be back in the public eye.”
Sandra Bullock first met Bryan Randall in January 2015, when she had hired him to photograph her son’s fifth birthday party.
