Hugh Jackman comes to Oprah Winfrey’s rescue before her Australian tour
Oprah Winfrey is returning to Australia after 10 years
Oprah Winfrey has enlisted the help of her “Aussie friend”, Hugh Jackman, for a very important cause — her upcoming tour to the Hollywood star’s home country.
Ahead of her Australian trip, which is “less than two weeks away”, Winfrey was joined by Jackman in a video reel shared via the celebrated television presenter’s Instagram.
“The countdown is on — less than 2 weeks until I’m down under. So I had to ask my Aussie friend @thehughjackman what to do when I get there,” the footage was captioned.
Winfrey’s description further added, “If you’re in Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Melbourne, I’d love to see you. Link in bio for tickets on @tegdainty”.
According to HELLO!, The Oprah Winfrey Show host is preparing “to return to the country this December for ‘Oprah In Conversation: Presented by Lilly’, a special series of intimate, one-night-only events in Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne.”
Meanwhile, during Winfrey and Jackman’s conversation online, the X-Men star shared a slew of things which the former can do as soon as she lands in Australia.
His tips included a trip to the famous Bondi Beach in Sydney, a dip in the ocean for “the best jetlag cure in the world”, and breakfast at a nearby restaurant called Bills.
“You Aussies are the best,” Oprah Winfrey enchantingly told Hugh Jackman, while he responded that Australia “loves” her back.
