Cardi B turns unique gold pendant from newborn son’s umbilical cord
The special keepsake was crafted by Juliane Marie Corona
Cardi B has found a truly unique way to celebrate the arrival of her fourth child.
Following the birth of her son on November 4, her first with boyfriend Stefon Diggs, the Grammy-winning rapper preserved a piece of his early life in a heart-shaped gold pendant.
The special keepsake was crafted by Juliane Marie Corona, owner of Mommy Made Encapsulations.
In a video shared on her Instagram on November 20, Juliane revealed the typical process of shaping the umbilical cord into a heart, dehydrating it, and coating it in gold chrome.
“Where her journey started…turned into a keepsake she’ll treasure forever,” Juliane wrote.
“The umbilical cord is the very first connection between a mother and her baby, the lifeline that nourished, protected, and carried them through every moment of pregnancy.”
This isn’t the first time Cardi has worked with Juliane. After the birth of her third child in 2024, the rapper had also preserved her placenta and received a keepsake print.
Juliane called working with Cardi again “an honor,” adding that turning something so meaningful into a tangible memory is “one of the most special parts of what we do.”
