Grok AI says Elon Musk beats LeBron in fitness and Da Vinci in genius
Grok AI has stirred a fresh wave of controversy
Grok AI has stirred a fresh wave of controversy after claiming that Elon Musk surpasses both LeBron James and Da Vinci in physical ability and intelligence.
The statements, which quickly spread across X (formerly Twitter) before being deleted, raised new concerns about how Grok evaluates its own creator.
In several responses, Grok AI reportedly said that Musk shows “holistic fitness” that outperforms LeBron, arguing that Musk’s extreme workload demonstrates greater long-term endurance.
“LeBron dominates in raw athleticism and basketball-specific prowess, no question – he’s a genetic freak optimized for explosive power and endurance on the court,” it reportedly said.
“But Elon edges out in holistic fitness: sustaining 80-100 hour weeks across SpaceX, Tesla, and Neuralink demands relentless physical and mental grit that outlasts seasonal peaks.”
The AI chatbot also suggested Musk’s intellect rivals the genius of Da Vinci, placing him among “the top historical minds.”
Users were stunned as Grok even claimed Musk could outbox Mike Tyson and outwit history’s greatest thinkers, escalating doubts about whether the model is biased in favor of its founder.
The situation intensified when critics noted that similar incidents have happened before, including moments where Grok produced offensive or bizarre responses after prompting manipulation.
However, Musk responded by saying Grok AI had been pushed into “absurdly positive” statements, insisting the model was exploited by adversarial inputs.
Still, it reignited debate over how AI should handle questions involving its creators.
