Kris Jenner pays emotional tribute to late sister Karen Houghton

Kris Jenner paid an emotional tribute to her late sister Karen Houghton, remembering her life and the moments they shared.

On Monday, November 24, the 70-year-old media personality posted a carousel of photos to share the throwback pictures of herself with late sister on the occasion of her 67th birthday.

Kris captioned the post, “Happy heavenly birthday to my beautiful sister Karen, I think about you every single day… I miss you, I love you, and I know you’re watching over all of us.”

The Kardashians star’s post featured old pics with Karen and loved ones, including her mom Mary Jo Shannon and kids Kourtney, Rob, Khloé and Kim Kardashian.

Karen passed away on March 18, 2024 at the age of 65, which was announced by Kris in a heartbreaking statement.

“It is with the heaviest heart and deepest sadness that I share that my sister Karen passed away yesterday unexpectedly,” the momager said, noting that her “heart aches” for their mom MJ and Karen's daughter Natalie.

For the unversed, Karen Houghton’s cause of death was cardiac arrest and sudden cardiac arrhythmia, with Type 2 diabetes listed as a secondary cause, as per her death certificate obtained by TMZ at the time.
