Blake Lively shockingly dumped Taylor Swift as her best friend.

The Gossip Girl actress was recently caught calling some else her best friend, a status which was once reserved to the Fate of Ophelia songstress.

The 38-year-old actress took to Instagram and shared a heartfelt birthday note for her best friend, Samantha Stone, the Chief Membership Officer at Soho House.

While paying her tribute, Lively emotionally penned, “Happy Birthday to the best friend, mahjong teacher, mama, ride or die, my size Barbie (including pregnant edition), travel buddy, off and on key harmonizer, innovative & kind leader of every pack she enters, @ saman thamstone.”

In the end of her heartfelt note, the mother of four shared, “I can attest, you make everyone you know, happily ever after...”

Her emotional note followed a sweet monochromic photo of Lively standing alongside Stone.

Her post comes amid the reports of a rift in the actress’ friendship with the singer.

The friendship of the duo, who had been friends since 2015, hit rock bottom after Swift was dragged into Lively's legal battle with Justin Baldoni, her co-star and director on It Ends with Us.

The exact reason for their friendship falling apart was never addressed by both parties, however, an insider claim that the fiancé of Travis Kelce felt betrayed by the wife of Ryan Reynolds’s actions.

Despite the rumours, neither Blake Lively nor Taylor Swift has publicly addressed the situation, and neither of them has chosen to comment on a possible reconciliation.
