Robbie Williams celebrates daughter Teddy’s acting debut in ‘Tinsel Town’

Robbie Williams, the English singer, expressed his pride as his eldest daughter, Theodora Rose “Teddy” Williams, makes her on screen debut in the upcoming Christmas film Tinsel Town.

The Rock DJ, known for hits like Millennium and Let Me Entertain You, appeared on the red carpet at the UK premiere in Leicester Square, London on Thursday, November 27, alongside his 13-year-old daughter and wife Ayda Field Williams.

The festive film follows a washed-up Hollywood action hero who is tricked into starring in a Christmas pantomime in England.

Tinsel Town casts members include Kiefer Sutherland and Rebel Wilson. Teddy plays Cara, the daughter of Wilson’s character, Jill.

Speaking about Teddy’s role, Williams told the Press Association, “I’m super proud. It’s a very weird situation to be in, to put your daughter out into the public, and it’s a very, very tiny little toe in just to go, this is what it’s like, now go back to school and we’ll see what happens later on.”

He added, “But I just want people to see what I see with her every day, which is how kind and how compassionate and empathic she is. I’m super proud of just her and then this is (the) icing.”

Directed by Chris Foggin, known for Fisherman’s Friends and Bank of Dave, the film also features Danny Dyer, famous for his role as EastEnders’ Mick Carter and Canadian comedian Katherine Ryan.

The film Tinsel Town is set for release on Friday, November 28.
