Kim Kardashian gets called out by North West over her controversial 2025 Met Gala look

Kim Kardashian’s eldest child, North West, has seemingly thrown a subtle dig at her mother regarding her fashion choices, leaving the internet stunned.

According to the Daily Mail, the 12-year-old shockingly revealed to her mom on this week’s episode of The Kardashians that “people hate” her outfits “every year.”

Kim remained unfazed by the criticism as the episode captured her getting ready for the 2025 Met Gala.

“'Last night, North came in my room. She gave me the cutest little balloon that says, 'Good Luck,' and some flowers,” Kim told an off-camera producer while getting her hair and makeup done.

The episode then flashed back to the night before, showing the 45-year-old reality star relaxing on her hotel bed as North walked in holding a bouquet of flowers.

“Oh, my gosh! Where did you get these? You know what? This made my day,” Kim told her daughter.

She admitted that she was anxious about a potential issue with her Chrome Hearts leather dress and the response it might get, to the point she wanted to pull out of the event.

North told Kim, “What's the worst that could happen? People hate on your outfit? They do that every year.”

“You just have to go — that’s it,” the young girl said, and the SKIMS founder, looking relieved, answered, “You’re my motivating factor.”

It is worth noting that apart from North West, Kim Kardashian has three other kids, Chicago, Saint, and Psalm, all of whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West.
