Kate Hudson makes bold comparison between Ginnifer Goodwin and stepmother Cindy Williams

Kate Hudson gave fans a rare glimpse into the bond she shared with her late stepmother, actress Cindy Williams, who was married to her father, Bill Hudson.

Speaking on the latest episode of her Sibling Revelry podcast with brother Oliver Hudson, the 46-year-old actress gushed about Ginnifer Goodwin, her Something Borrowed co-star, noting the striking resemblance to Cindy.

The Running Point actress couldn't stop praising the 47-year-old actress, saying, "I can't even take it. I can't even take how beautiful… she's like a painting."

"And I used to say that all the time when we were working together. I'd look at her face and be like, lost in it, 'cos her eyes are so big, and she's like, porcelain skin. She's like Snow White," she said about the actress who took on the role of Snow White in ABC's Once Upon a Time. 

"But then, she also looks like our stepmother. She's very much Cindy Williams," Kate added.

"A billion per cent," Oliver replied in agreement.

Cindy Williams, best known for her beloved for her roles on Happy Days and its spin-off Laverne & Shirley, died at the age of 75 in January 2023 shortly after falling ill.

She tied the knot with Kate and Oliver's dad, Bill Hudson, in 1982, but the couple ended up divorcing in 2000 after having two children, Emily and Zachary.
