Meghan Markle has recently been hit with a major blow as her lifestyle brand, As Ever, faces a new competitor in the market.

According to GB News, Meghan’s online store received only a quarter of the traffic recorded by her new contender, Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop, in October.

While the store originally sold out within minutes of every stock drop, this has become less common over time.

Brand intelligence platform SimilarWeb revealed that Asever.com had 196,831 monthly visits in October, while Goop.com attracted more than four times that figure, with 812,462.

Media reports also indicated that As Ever recorded a lower "bounce rate" than Goop, suggesting that visitors to Meghan’s site were more inclined to explore additional pages.

A source close to the mother-of-two told Newsweek, "Everybody's really pleased that some of the gremlins that were there at the start — that are inevitable with any new business — seem to have been ironed out now... as it relates to things like supply chain, production, scalability, that sort of thing."

Meghan Markle had launched her brand in April of this year, alongside her With Love, Meghan series on Netflix.
