How Andrew’s tell-all memoir could transform ‘the history of the House of Windsor’
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s potential literary appeal highlighted by experts from the field
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor could produce one of the most exciting tell-all literary accounts by any royal in recent history, a publication executive has claimed.
Writing for the Daily Mail, Christopher Wilson quoted the executive in his latest column, revealing, “Obviously everyone wants the inside track on his time with Epstein. That is the Holy Grail — no royal has been treated so brutally by his own people since King Charles I was beheaded in 1649, and he’s clearly angry at the way he’s been dumped.”
“In those circumstances he might be prepared to talk, in broad terms, about his involvement with Epstein, simply to get his side of the story across,” the publishing insider added.
Though they also noted that the former Duke of York would have “to be careful his words don’t incriminate him.”
“The Democrats in the US Congress have asked Andrew to appear before them, and now he no longer has royal immunity, he’d have to tread very, very carefully,” Wilson’s source further shared. “But he must be dying to say something in order to salvage his professional reputation.”
While a literary agent stated that Andrew’s potential memoir could sell for as much as “maybe £25 million.”
“With the right ghost-writer asking him the right questions, we could see the history of the House of Windsor completely rewritten with what he knows. He’s a time-bomb waiting to explode,” they claimed.
The prediction is of particular note since Prince Harry’s memoir, Spare, had memorably sold for an advance sum of £15 million prior to its release in 2023.
Meanwhile, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor remains estranged from the royal family following the removal of his titles and honours by King Charles in October.
